As the first steppingstone in the Cote d’Or Smart City, Cote d’Or National Sports Complex is the Mauritian home sports and entertainment, and this exclusive destination of choice presents infinite opportunities to host a multitude of extraordinary events in different venues. Set on 19 hectares, the sports complex comprises of 3 main state-of-the-art facilities: the Main Hall, the Aquatic Centre and the Stadium.
Rated in the top 5 sports hubs in Africa, this modern infrastructure is the only sports hub in the region to boast a FINA (Fédération Internationale de Natation) certified 50M swimming pool, a World Athletics certified athletics track and field, two FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) certified football pitch, an Olympic level indoor arena and a National High Performance Centre for elite athletes training, complemented with a progressive gym for community use.

It also supports the National Sport and Physical Activity Policy for the development of the local sport and physical activity for a 10-year period 2018-2028 which has two main visions; “Healthier citizens, happier communities, and a stronger nation” and “Inspire Mauritians in the pursuit of excellence on the world stage.” Sports should be inclusive, accessible, and affordable to the Mauritian community.
