Cote d’Or National Sports Complex and Lovebridge invite you for the HIIT Party Fund-Raiser on Monday 6 March 2023. Participate and donate for a good cause: let’s unite to help families living in poverty!
Côte d’Or National Sports Complex, in collaboration with Lovebridge, is pleased to announce an action-packed and pulsating fund-raising event to the name of HIIT Party Fund-Raiser. Set to take place on Monday 6 March 2023 in the Outdoor HIIT Stadium in the compound of Côte d’Or, the event is open for persons from 15 years old and upwards. Free for all HPC Gym members, the participation fee for outsiders is priced at Rs 250 per person per session. All registration should be done at the HPC Gym desk before 3 March 2023 in person.
Led by the Strength & Conditioning Specialists of the High Performance Centre Mauritius and energised by the live music of a DJ, this promising event will consist of 3 HIIT* sessions and each session has a maximum capacity of 50 participants. Participants will have the choice to partake in any of the 3 sessions of different level of intensity and they are:
• Beginner level: 18h00 – 19h00
• Intermediate level: 19h00 – 20h00
• Advanced level: 20h00 – 21h00
Yannick Lincoln, Director of the High Performance Centre Mauritius at Côte d’Or, adds: “last year, Lovebridge approached HPC Mauritius with a special request. They wanted the children from their organisation to interact, dialogue, and engage with the Mauritian elite athletes whom they treasure as their heroes. We made the children’s dreams come true and the idea behind the project was to inspire the children to do great things. It has been an amazing experience to see the exchange of words, feelings and reactions between the children and the elite athletes during training sessions at the H|PC. To continuously support Lovebridge in its objective to fight against poverty in Mauritius, HPC Mauritius came up with the HIIT Party Fund-Raiser to collect money. The collected funds will be donated to Lovebridge and will be used to help vulnerable families.”
To support this event, participants are encouraged to bring together their families and friends to create awareness around the cause to fight against poverty. Additional contributions and corporate donations are also welcome. All participants are required to bring along their sweat towels, water and to wear appropriate exercise clothing. This event is proudly sponsored by KFC, SIS and Hysteria Production. More surprises to come for this event, participants might train alongside national athletes.

Vision, Mission, Values
Our objective, apolitical and secular, is to play an active role (alongside government, businesses, civil society) in the fight against poverty in the Republic of Mauritius. Our vision is to help bring and strengthen empowerment for households wanting to break out of the poverty cycle. Our mission is to promote the empowerment (autonomy) of targeted families by intervening on the 6 fundamental interrelated pillars which are: Education, Housing, Health, Employment/ Employability, Food & Nutrition, and MASCO (Motivation, positive Attitude, Skills and Courage). We promote the following values: Results driven, team spirit, positive attitude, excellence, love, respect, ethics and humility.
What we do?
We currently support families with secondary school children in the Fortified Learning Environment Extended Programme. These children are among the lowest academic achievers at the Primary School Achievement Certificate (PSAC) and our aim is to help build a more conducive learning environment at home for the academic progress and holistic development of the children and of their siblings. Lovebridge provides support to 400 families (1500 individuals including 900 children) across more than 100 localities.
