Four Mauritian coaches of the Liverpool Football Club International Academy Mauritius attended the LFC international academy coach convention. Senior coaches and coach educators from all academies around the world were present in Liverpool for an action-packed five days.
Côte d’Or National Sports Complex is thrilled to announce that 4 Mauritian coaches of the Liverpool Football Club International Academy Mauritius participated in the LFC International Academy Coach Convention from 22 to 26 March 2023 at the AXA Training Academy in Liverpool. The 4 Mauritian coaches are Kingsley Saramandy, Adeel Moniaruch, Angelito Boff and Rajiv Gayadin, who are at the academy since its launch in 2019, and they have demonstrated and applied the Liverpool’s 4 core values (unity, ambition, commitment, and dignity) the most from previous season.
Head Coach, Neil Murphy, has received very positive feedback from the UK staff regarding the traveling Mauritian party. All coaches were fully immersed in the experience and the full credit goes to their country, Mauritius. Here are the thoughts of the 4 Mauritian coaches about this once-a-lifetime opportunity:
Kingsley Saramandy – Technical support and coach
“Being an avid Liverpool fan, I was blessed to have met Ian Rush during a workshop, and John Barnes during a dinner. The Liverpool AXA Training Centre is infused with new sports technology and development. It is a whole new level of training. This exposure has ignited a new energy in me to go to the extra mile with my new set of skills and approach.”
Adeel Moniaruch – Coach
“I shared very special moment with Sir Kenny Dalglish during a lucky selfie. That’s awesome! The coach convention made me feel that I am part of the global Liverpool family, and this has put me in high spirits to transmit my emotions to my young players. What surprised me is the parent community which is very active to support their children in what they do.”
Angelito Boff – Coach
My visit to Anfield and soaking in The Liverpool Way in all its facets has left a mark in me. The hospitality was out of this world! It was so fascinating to see that there were no barriers of communication and we spoke the same universal language of football during the convention. I have no doubt that people in Liverpool live for football and breathe football.
Rajiv Gayadin – Coach
“The buzzing and enchanting ambiance in the hot cauldron of Liverpool and thrills of watching football in Anfield is a dream come true. I had the privilege to watch the Liverpool’s women team in action and the Legends of Liverpool play for a charity match. What I took back to my island is the strong Liverpool energy which inspires me beyond to give my best in coaching the new generation.”
