The High Performance Centre Mauritius is primed to develop elite athletes and high performance sport. Harnessing the latest in research and innovation, HPC Mauritius is committed to enhancing all areas of sport science, sport medicine, rehabilitation and elite level coaching. HPC Mauritius gives sport federations, coaches and athletes the competitive edge through scientific assessment, training, rehabilitation and monitoring.
Led by highly qualified experts and former athletes, the HPC Mauritius is complete with world class sporting facilities and support services that include a sport science laboratory, a training centre and fully equipped medical care centre. We put the athlete and coach at the centre of our sport-specific periodization. Our scientific approach to preparation and competition means our athletes are ready to compete on the Olympic and world stage.
The Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sports and Recreation (MYESR) of Mauritius and Team Mauritius have the vision to inspire the nation with athletes in the quest of excellence on the world stage. Binding the country together behind Team Mauritius, a team everyone can believe in through high performance. MYESR and Team Mauritius are preparing the nation’s finest competitors and the best athletes to compete in greatest sporting competition.
Secondly, they are developing and promoting an elite environment at Cote d’Or National Sports Complex to breed the athletes of tomorrow and create a sense of belonging and legacy for Mauritius.

Complementing the High Performance Centre, the medical care centre at Cote d’Or focuses on sports science, prehabilitation and rehabilitation of elite athletes and sports persons. The experienced panel of therapists, consisting of medics and paramedics, blends health, sports and performance to optimise athletes’ wellbeing and physical conditions.
With a large spectrum of specialities, from biomechanics to physiotherapy and from nutrition to recovery, our team of doctors accompany you in your journey to recovery and excellence with prognosis, diagnosis, latest treatment, and counselling.
